The Rockland Housing Authority (RHA) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for senior/disabled individuals. Please note: The RHA does not offer a public housing program for families.

The current wait for senior/disabled public housing is approximately 5-7 years.

The RHA offers two public housing communities with 82 units dedicated to senior/disabled individuals.
There are two ways to apply:
1. Visit the RHA to pick up an application, located at 8 Studley Ct, Rockland, MA 02370, during normal office hours.
2. Request an application be mailed to you by calling (781) 878-4156 during normal office hours.
Once the application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.
Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, photo IDs for all adult household members, and if claiming the veteran preference a copy of the DD214.

The RHA does have a preference for Rockland residence and veterans.

Massachusetts Centralized Waiting List

Rockland Housing Authority is a member of the Massachusetts Chapter of NAHRO ("MassNAHRO") Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program Centralized Waiting List (CWL).

With numerous Massachusetts housing authorities utilizing this one computerized list; all applicant information entered onto this list can be accessed and updated by any and all participating housing authorities providing WHA Section 8 applicants more chances of obtaining a Section 8 voucher. Applicants need apply to only one of the participating housing authorities.
